I just purchased an 80-year-old house at a price that was simply too tempting to pass up. It’s in a great suburb with excellent schools, and is the kind of place I can envision raising a family. The only problem with getting a house this old is that it’s going to take a lot of work to bring it up to modern standards. In fact, I’m planning on renovating the entire interior, which is why I’m currently poring over kitchen, bedroom, and Bathroom Remodel Gallery Photos every chance I get
I’m going to start in the kitchen, where the bulk of the work will focus on opening up the space and replacing outdated appliances with the newest models. Some of the remodeling pictures I’ve seen have featured absolutely stunning cabinets and countertops, so I might decide to have those replaced as well. The scope of the project will ultimately depend on how much I need to do in my other rooms.

The bedrooms in this house are quite small, so I’m thinking of knocking out the walls between them in order to make them larger. I’ll probably end up going from four bedrooms to two, but that should work for the time being. I can always finish the basement at a later date and put another room down there.
