You Can Draw Some Cool Cars If you want to draw cool cars you will need three basic items in order to get started. You will need a pencil, a piece of paper, and some pictures of cool cars. You do not even need the pictures if you have some cool ideas for cars in your mind. If you have some pictures you need to study them for a few moments. What makes them cool? What do you see in the different pictures that make them cool? You might like the shape, the wheel covers, the spoilers.

Before you begin you need to remember one word: Pracitce. It takes a lot of practice to draw a cool car. Do not give up. When you first start you need to relax. Just take it easy.

Once you have some unique ideas to refer to you are ready to begin. First, make a sketch. This does not need to be perfect. After the basic shape is there you can add the windshield. This can be done in the shape of an oval. The sides, hood, and passenger area can be drawn from the shape of a trapezoid. Down at the base you can draw a half circle, or more, depending on how much of the wheel will be shown. If you become stuck on some of the details just sit back and relax. You can even put your drawing away for now. You will feel refreshed when you return to your drawing. No matter what, do not become frustrated. It will take time and practice to draw cool cars.

Once you have your basic shapes on paper you can darken each one. This will help bring out some clearer designs. Of course we all know that to draw cool cars you need to have your own dynamic shapes. Now is the time to really make them cool. What can you do to change the front of the hood? How can the overall shape of the car really stand out? Use your pencil and darken the different areas to make these areas stand out.

What do you want to add to make more cool accessories? Draw whatever you think makes the car really cool. This might be a unique shaped spoiler. If you add your own, unique shape then you have your own unique spoiler. This is true with all of the other accessories you want to add.

You might want to add some really hot wheels and rims to your cool car. Again, start with the shape. After you have the look of what you want, go over each line again and make each one darker. Once the rim is the way you want it then move on to another area.

How to draw cool cars takes some time and it takes some patience. And, remember that old adage, “practice makes perfect.” The more you practice the more you will see your improvements. Soon, you will be able to create the cool car of your dreams.
